ABOUT THE PROVIDER

With Heart Therapy is founded by Lucy Han, a licensed psychotherapist (LCSW #104416) based in Southern California- Lucy has been in the field since 2012, graduating from California State University of Los Angeles with a Masters in Social Work, 2014. Lucy has an array of experience in the field including school mental health, community mental health services, asian community mental health, adult protective services, inpatient chemical dependency and behavioral health. Lucy is currently employed per-diem at a faith based hospital as a LCSW Care Manager. Lucy is open for her clients in private practice on mainly Fridays and some Thursdays/weekends. Due to her practice being limited, she is not able to take on clients who have severe symptoms such as suicidal ideations.

Lucy's passion lies in working with individuals who are 16 years olds+, adults, older adult clients who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, cultural/identity issues, dysfunctional family dynamics, and emotional dysregulation.

Lucy finds so much joy when leading clients to the moment of their breakthroughs.

Lucy is a first generation Chinese-Vietnamese American who grew up in an immigrant household. Lucy empathizes with the complexities of other immigrant children. Having gone through treatment and being able to attain goals through having therapeutic support, Lucy is passionate in helping her clients attain healing no matter what they are currently going through.

Lucy is proud to be a mother to her 2 boys (11 and 17-year- old) and a wife to her spouse of 13 years. Lucy loves enjoying sunny Orange County Beaches, fellowship, coffee, being outdoors, gardening, singing, taking care of her plant babies, recreating childhood meals, watching K-dramas and light hearted shows. Lucy's self-care practice includes Peloton classes 5-30 minute (yoga, HIIT cardio, pilates, strength training, meditation), taking classes at local pilates/yoga studio, reading, walking her Lab-Shepherd rescue, lighting candles, enjoying a meal with friends & family.
